Rest for a delicious morning or afternoon tea in the garden of an historic island home built by Fletcher Quintal – descendant of ‘Bounty’ mutineers Fletcher Christian & Matthew Quintal.

Burnt Pine is the largest town on Norfolk Island. It is the main commercial hub of the island, and travel from one side of the island to another generally involves passing through Burnt Pine as the island's sole thoroughfare runs through the town's centre.

Join us on an in-depth tour of the World Heritage Listed Georgian settlement of Kingston. This whole area is a living showcase of Polynesian, convict and Pitcairn Islander history. We take you through the cemetery, where you will hear the history of the colonial headstones, as well as the old houses along Quality Row. You will also walk through the ruins of the New Gaol, see the Pier Store, Boat Shed and the Crank Mill - all of which must be seen to be believed. Trust us - the only way to truly experience the incredible history of Norfolk Island - is to see it for yourself

Our two Norfolk Islanders, Donald & John, will share their knowledge of Norfolk’s unique marine life. Once you’ve ‘walked the plank’ with these ‘mutineer descendants’ it takes 60 seconds (yes one minute!) to be at the reef. View beautiful coral gardens & tropical fish inside the calm crystal waters of Norfolk’s lagoon. Donald & John provide full & interesting commentary on this environmental tour. With these two you should be prepared for a touch of Norfolk humour.

Experience life as a convict on Norfolk Island at this theatre-restaurant style evening. A enjoyable three course carvery dinner is served with a selection of drinks as guests are immersed in a cultural and historical night of singing and merry making. Convict outfits are provided to be worn on the night. These are pre-measured and delivered to your accommodation. Guests can get into the true feel of the night by wearing the outfits. The Night as a Convict is one of the most popular evenings on Norfolk Island.

Learn about the colourful history of Norfolk Island’s most recent settlement – the Pitcairners & their descendants. Experience the history & culture of the Pitcairn Settlers. View the magnificent homestead gardens, including many of the traditional crops. Ride in Norfolk’s first tour couch, a model A Ford. View a film, visit a blacksmith’s forge, the original homestead, a WWII Army Hut & Museum of Memorabilia.

The world-renowned author Colleen McCullough made Norfolk Island home in 1979 and stayed until her passing in 2015. Colleen created a majestic home on Norfolk Island with her husband Ric Robinson. Ric and Colleen’s home was never open to the public until her passing. This exclusive guided tour to the author’s magnificent property takes you through Ric and Colleen’s home, view some of their priceless collections from around the world.

01.00pm - Depart Resort Norfolk Indulgence Tour (Pinetree Tours Coach)


We start the Indulgence Tour on the south-eastern side of Norfolk Island, at Ball Bay - just another stunning bay with magnificent ocean views! Here you will learn all about how we get fuel ashore, as this is where our supply is unloaded. We then move on to Steeles Point, to enjoy the sheltered valleys behind the coastal cliffs. You may even spot a White Fairy Tern nesting in the forest! From here, we head to the Captain Cook Monument, a scenic lookout where you will stand at the spot on the northern coast where Captain James Cook and his officers landed in 1774. It has some of the best sea views on the Island, with offshore rock formations like Bird Rock and Elephant Rock. We will finish the day the way all fantastic days should end - with wine, cheese & crackers on Mount Pitt. The Lookout gives a 360° view of the whole island, so it will be a picnic to remember! Bonus visit to Island Spirits for a tour and tasting.

The setting is 10 acres of magical Norfolk pines & bushland lit up like an enchanted forest. Meander along (or ride in the ‘moon buggy’) a gentle winding path as our guide recites “The Mutiny on the Bounty”, poems and lights up the dioramas. Afterwards enjoy a light supper.
